Jiutai Rural Commercial Bank Co., Ltd. of Jilin Province is formally Jiutai Rural Credit Cooperative. In December 2008, it was formally reorganized to be the first rural commercial bank in the Northeast. It is now the benchmark rural commercial bank in China, a rural commercial bank with the largest asset size and the largest business network in Northeast China Region.

 

At present, Jiutai Rural Commercial Bank has 103 banking outlets under its Jurisdiction, has established 32 villages banks and 5 rural commercial banks, either wholly-owned or holding,  in the 10 provinces (cities) of the country. After the reformation, Jiutai Rural Commercial Bank, adhering to the operation idea “Benefiting Finance, Enriching the People and Rejuvenating Enterprise”, speeding up the reform, innovation and transformation, persisting in the principles of “Marketization, Professionalization, Processize, Elaborate, Standardization”, insisting “to Lay the Same Stress on Urban and Rural Markets” and to “Promote the Four Principal Businesses A the Same Time ”,  has founded a collectivized development mode of banking financial institution.

 

Up to June 30, 2016, Jiutai Rural Commercial Bank has 353 banking outlets under its jurisdiction,

With 5,455 regular staff. It has a total assets of 159,966.1 million Yuan and shareholder’s equity  12,466.9 million Yuan, with retained profits of 1,032.8 million Yuan.

 

Development History

In 2008, our bank was incorporated to be the first rural commercial bank in Northeast China Region;

 

In 2010, the first villages bank --- Shuangcheng People Benefiting Villages Bank was duly established. The strategic layout was started to extend its business to the whole country through establishing villages banks.;

 

In 2011, completed the merger and acquisition of the Rural Credit Cooperative of the Changbai

 

Mountain Protection Development Zone and reorganized it into wholly-owned Changbai Mountain Rural Commercial Bank at the same time, which is the first rural commercial bank to carry out acquisition and recombination strategy in the country; our first branch outside the province --- Heilongjiang Province Bin County Branch began operation; completed the establishments of 7 villages banks;

 

In 2012, completed the merger and acquisition of Suburban Rural Credit Union of Liaoyuan City and reorganized it into wholly-owned Liaoyuan Rural Commercial Bank; the Small Enterprise Service Center and Tiny Loan Center of our bank started business; set up one villages bank;

 

In 2013, completed the merger and acquisition of Dehui Rural Credit Union and reorganized it into Dehui Rural Commercial Bank of Jilin Province; established 5 villages banks;

 

In 2014, established 6 villages banks in Guangdong Province and Coastal New District of Tianjin City, starting the institutional layout to radiate to Pearl River Delta and Bohai Sea Rim; became formally the founding member of Self-discipline Mechanism of Market Interest Rate Pricing and obtained accreditation to issue inter-bank deposit receipt, being the first to issue inter-bank deposit receipt among the local corporate financial institutions of Jilin Province; issued successfully the first credit assets backed securities among the rural commercial banks of Northeast China Region and the second credit assets backed securities among the rural commercial banks of the country; among the ranking list “Top 1000 of the Global Banking Industry in 2013” issued by The Banker, our bank ranks 759th (in tier 1 capital);

 

In 2015, completed the merger and acquisition of Gongzhuling Rural Cooperative Bank of Jilin Province and 3 rural credit cooperatives, and reorganized synchronously Gongzhuling Rural Commercial Bank of Jilin Province and Chuncheng Rural Commercial Bank of Jilin Province; established 5 subsidiary corporations of rural commercial bank; was approved to establish 4 villages banks and completed the merger and acquisition of 1 villages bank; set up the network loan platform of “Network Financing E of Jiutai Rural Commercial Bank”; among the ranking list “Top 1000 of the Global Banking Industry in 2014” issued by The Banker, our bank ranks 728th (in tier 1 capital);

 

In 2016, established 1 villages bank and completed the merger and acquisition of 1 villages bank;

 

among the ranking list “Top 1000 of the Global Banking Industry in 2015” issued by The Banker, our bank ranks 496th (in tier 1 capital); ranks the second place in the “Spinning Top” Evaluation System for the Steady Development of Commercial Banks for the Year 2016 (rural commercial bank) issued by China Banking Association.

 

Innovation and Transformation

Since establishment, Jiutai Rural Commercial Bank has been following the trend of the times consistently and exploring the innovation paths continuously, its institutions have been developed from county territory to the whole country and its business structure has extended from single business mode to multiple business modes, realizing an evolution like phoenix nirvana.

 

Innovative financial products: developed successively a series of characteristic financial products, such as Loan Accessibility,  Financing Treasure, Business Carefree, Bank and Enterprise Connect, Community Connect, pioneering work and finance connect, industry and finance connect, to assist “Agricultural, farmer and rural area” enterprises to grow together with middle-sized, small and micro enterprises. The “Financing Treasure” and “Business Carefree” products have been awarded featured financial service products of national banking financial services by China Banking Regulatory Committee.

 

Bring fourth new ideas of growth pattern: taking the lead in setting up capital operation center, inter-bank financing bills department, private bank department, international business department, investment bank department; speeding up the construction of E-bank, financial service, insurance agent and community bank, to promote the development of new business ventures.  In 2014, Jiutai Rural Commercial Bank was ranked among the “Double Tops 100” of national home currency and foreign currency market transaction.

 

Meanwhile, to speed up the transformation steps relying on the innovative financial means. Taking the lead to issue subordinated debt, tier II capital debt, large-denomination negotiable certificate of deposit(CD); issuing successfully credit assets backed securities, among the first in the rural commercial banks of the country and the first in Northeast China Region.

 

Branches: has established 103 banking outlets.

Villages bank: 32 villages banks has started operation. Nanguan, Indianian, Ningjiang, Huadian, Fengman, Da’an. Chuanying, Baicheng, Taonan, Fuyu of Jilin Province; Shuangcheng, Wuchang of Heilongjiang Province; Pingdu,  Gaomi of Shandong Province; Lujiang, Hanshan of Anhui Province; Jingmen, Tongcheng of Hubei Province; Langfang, Anci, Wen’an, Anping of Hebei Province; Heyang of Shanxi Province; Binhai District of Tianjin; Huangpu of Guangzhou, Yun’an, Qingyuan, Wuhua, Huidong, Leizhou of Guangdong Province; Lingshui, Fenghuang of Hainan Province.

 

Rural Commercial bank: Changbai Mountain Rural Commercial Bank, Liaoyuan Rural Commercial Bank, Dehui Rural Commercial Bank, Gongzhuling Rural Commercial Bank and Chuncheng Rural Commercial Bank.

                                    

Social responsibility

Jiutai Rural Commercial Bank will devote itself to the valued development and do its best to perform social responsibility.

 

Being committed to charity cause: it has founded a beneficent funds of 5 million Yuan at Changchun Charity Federation to bring along the old and help the students in their studies regularly. In addition, it has donated an accumulative total of over 300 million Yuan to the people in straitened circumstances, earthquake stricken areas and the areas suffered flood disaster; supporting cultural and physical undertakings. Naming Manchurian Tiger Basketball Team, to support the development of cultural and physical undertakings. Being enthusiastic about public welfare cause: organizing the Love Volunteer Team of Jiutai Rural Commercial Bank to go deep into communities and villages to held the disadvantaged groups.
